Srushti Dehmukh was preparing to sit for UPSC during the final year of her engineering degree. She was unsure if engineering is the right career for her. Her goal became apparent when she shifted her focus to the civil job. Parents encouraged her to prepare for civil service and to make it a profession serving the public. Her motivation never waned as she remained focused in her pursuit to become an IAS. To achieve UPSC it is necessary to put in more work. When she was preparing in engineering and other classes, she also used to prepare different subjects in UPSC. The preparation for the exam was carried out each day. Within just 1 and 1/4 months, she passed her engineering exams, and avoided all social interactions. The focus she believes is crucial to be able to pass the examination for government jobs and be able to work as a civil servant. She put in great effort to pass the test on the first try. Every day, she reads newspapers to keep current with the latest news. In addition, she had plenty of help online, by accumulating studies materials and watching Rajya Sabha TV. IAS Srushti Deskmukh Book IAS Srushti Deskmukh created and released A book entitled The Answer Writing Manual. It is available in every state library. This book is ideal to IAS students who are studying hard for the IAS test. Her husband and she are active on social media and share details regarding their respective roles.
